Mohambi Nazi Moupondo

I would like to thank the organizers of Congo in Harlem for consistently highlighting Congolese culture and heritage. They have provided a remarkable platform for showcasing Congolese film, music, art and intellect to the global community. I am glad to be a part of such an initiative that promotes the best that Congo has to offer to the world community.

Mohombi Nazi Moupondo was born to a Congolese father and Swedish mother in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Mohombi is a well-established vocalist, songwriter and dancer. He is an international award-winning multi platinum artist and songwriter. Mohombi gives back to his homeland by financially and materially supporting the Kibondo Orphanage in Kinshasa, DRC.
